Body of missing Scott County woman found | News
The body of missing 81-year-old Mittie Lou Harrison was found in a wooded area near the Harperville community Monday.
Scott County Sheriff Mike Lee says a beaver trapper found Harrison's body near a dirt road about a mile off Anderson and Harperville roads Monday.
Authorities along with family and friends had been searching for Harrison for nearly a week after she didn't return to her Harperville home Tuesday evening.
No foul play is apparent, but an autopsy will be conducted.
The sheriff suspects Harrison may have gotten lost.
